On Sunday, the highly anticipated interview between Oprah Winfrey and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will air for the first time, giving viewers a look inside the lives of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex since stepping down from their roles as senior members of the royal family.

The interview, which took place during a conversation with Winfrey where “nothing is off-limits,” will also cover “wide-ranging” topics, such as motherhood, the couple’s philanthropic work and the duke and duchess’s move to California.

In the lead-up to Sunday, CBS has shared multiple trailers for the two-hour special, which have seen Prince Harry reveal that his worst fear was “history repeating itself” and Meghan address what she claims are “falsehoods” perpetuated by the royal family.

According to reports, the Queen has not been given an advance copy of the interview. She, along with Prince Charles and Prince William, will appear in a broadcast on Sunday to pay tribute to healthcare workers across the Commonwealth.

While royal fans are eagerly looking forward to the couple’s interview, the timing has not been without concern, as the special comes as Prince Harry’s grandfather Prince Philip continues to remain hospitalised for an infection.

The CBS interview also follows reports this week of bullying by the duchess, which Buckingham Palace has since announced will be investigated.
